about the show

Surrey-born Julian attended The Ealing Abbey School where he was taught by Benedictine monks, before moving onto study Drama and English at Goldsmith's College. He later shot to fame on the cabaret circuit with his act The Joan Collins Fan Club, where he was joined on stage by Fanny the Wonderdog. His theatrical delights include the extravagant musical Taboo and more recently he's toured his own live show Natural Born Mincer.

Infamous for his double-entendres, Julian's well versed in showbusiness, presenting various television shows including It's Only TV But I Like It, All Rise, Sticky Moments and Terry & Julian. He's also been presented with 'the big red book' by Michael Aspel for This Is Your Life and was a contestant on BBC ONE's Strictly Come Dancing where he impressed the judges with more than his personality as he showed off fine dancing limbs.

Also a star of the silver screen, Julian appeared in Carry on Columbus with good reviews, and appeared in Nick Moran's comedy Baby Juice Express. His autobiography, "A Young Man's Passage" publishes this spring chronicling his rise from a quiet suburban upbringing to a career in the limelight, as a cabaret and television star.
