After a tough battle on the show, Mick was the third person to qualify for the grand final of The People's Quiz. He'd never considered hiself a true quiz buff before the show started, but now he's determined to win!

We found out a bit more about this potential winner.

1. Mick is 38 years old and from Headington in Oxfordshire but he is originally from Preston in Lancashire.

2. He is a Software Developer for an I.T. company.

3. He is the founding member of his local pub quiz team, 'Queen Victoria's Truncheon' who have been together for 10 years.

4. Mick has an Honours degree from Liverpool University and a Masters degree from York University, both in Mathematics.

5. Winning the quiz would enable Mick to fulfil his dream of driving a convertible across America.

6. Mick is a lifelong Everton fan and he would also love to buy a box at Goodison Park.

7. Mick's greatest achievement so far was to ski down a black run at Zell in Austria.
