Angela Griffin

Angela was born in Leeds and began acting at the Leeds Children's Theatre. Her first major television role was as hairdresser Fiona Middleton in Coronation Street. In 1995 she was awarded the Most Popular Newcomer Award at the National Television Awards for Coronation Street. She left the street in 1998 to star in popular BBC dramas - Holby City, Cutting It, Babyfather, and as teacher Kim Campbell in Waterloo Road. Angela is also the voice of Amy the vet - in children's television shown, Postman Pat.
