    Huge Influence

I would just like to say that watching the Long Way Round was the best series ive ever watched on TV and just cant wait to see the Long Way Down. Ewan and Charlie have both been a huge influence to me as The Long Way Round gave me and my mate the insentive to tour Europe on our bikes. We traveled through 7 countries and covered approx 3400mls in only 21 days.I know its nothing compared with what Ewan and Charlie have achieved but it definately gave me an understanding of what touring on a motorbike is all about. I think its amazing what Ewan and Charlie have achieved and hope they continue in thier travels. I would just like to wish Ewan, Charlie and the Team the best of luck for the future. Yours Faithfully David Robertson

    Brilliant!

Watched the whole series of The long way round (twice!) then The Race To Dakar and read the book. Have had a rough couple of years, my little girl got Leukemia in 2005 and found both series unbelievably inspiring and uplifting! Thank you for that and can't wait to see The long way Down.

    what an inspiration

nice one fellas. Sterling job. You guys are an inspiration to all of us who hope to get loads of gear for free! Also can't wait to see long way down. I hope the whole thing hasn't become too much of a commecial venture. and hasn't lost the appeal of the first series that didn't have fancy web sites, and online stores flogging every bit of merchandise imaginable. Anyhow, top achievement !
