Duran Duran

Duran Duran

Duran Duran's brand of sophisticated pop made them one of the definitive bands of the 1980s, from their early days as mascara toting New Romantics to champagne swilling yacht owners with supermodels on their arms. Still they've reinvented themselves enough times to have made it through to the 21st century; a new album is slated for an autumn release.

AMAZING!!! They were the best there. can't wait for a new tour

Great performance - very sneaky fitting I Wanna Take You Higher in the middle of Notorious - inspired! Only grumble is that the sound was a bit poor - why is it that the sound technicians always seem to leave the sound check for these type of events until the artists are actually performing their set? The useless technicians didn't seem to finish messing around with levels until Duran were well into Girls on Film which was the last song. First backing vocals...then no backing vocals...then backing vocals again...keyboards were way too quiet in the mix and seemed as though Simon had trouble even hearing himself... Still all in a good cause!!

Duran Duran were superb, the best band of the day, IMO. Keep up the good work guy's, looking forward to the new album...
