About BBC Learning

Interactive learning

BBC Learning makes full use of digital, interactive technology to support the learning needs of children, teenagers and adults. Through the website we offer a wide range of interactive resources including video and audio, online activities, and content to download.

Online is key to delivering long-established offerings such as the Bitesize revision service, to supporting adult learners in developing essential skills, and increasingly to providing classroom resources for teachers. The growth of broadband has also allowed us to offer greater depth and variety to our content. For example, our Languages site features an award-winning docu-drama in 22 episodes to help people learn Spanish.

We encourage people to develop their own computer skills through Webwise, and see this as an important contribution to improving digital participation in the UK.

We also actively support young people in creating their own digital content through projects such as Blast, Me and My Movie and the 21CC learning centres in London and Salford.
