Tricia Penrose - runner-up

Tricia Penrose - runner-up

Although Tricia is best known for starring in ITV1's long-running 1960s drama Heartbeat, she first found fame at the age of 14 starring as Damon Grant’s girlfriend in Brookside. Since then she has appeared in numerous shows including Boon, Help, Medics, Emmerdale and Coronation Street.

Since 1992, Tricia has become better known as Heartbeat's bubbly landlady, Gina Ward.

She has also made some attempts to break into the music industry, having released two singles: Where Did Our Love Go? in 1996 and Don't Wanna Be Alone in 2000.

Clearly a woman of many talents, last November Tricia launched her own jewellery collection and donated several pieces from it to the Gem Appeal Charity, which raises money for children with Genetic and Metabolic Disorders.

Tricia is the runner up on Comic Relief does Fame Academy.
